Garden Journal- May

by Alissa Marquess on May 13, 2011

We got inspired to make a garden journal after seeing Cathy’s post at the Nurture Store.  I think this will be fun to look over in the fall to see how much everything has grown.

Yesterday we went around the yard photographing things.

Today we sat out front and each decorated a page. We’ll add more next week.

I asked each boy to tell me something they like about the garden right now.

Thanks for the inspiration Cathy!

I’m so pleased you liked our suggestion and are making a journal of your own.  I love that you’re including quotes from the children. We’ll have to compare diaries as we go along through the summer.

Thanks, it’s particularly rewarding to see what interests the kids about the garden.  I’m excited to see what they take pictures of this coming week. And Cathy- definitely want to see how your journal comes along.  Maybe some other folks will want share as well :) ~Alissa
