Have you taught your kids how to do butterfly kisses? One of the sweetest feelings I know is the gentle tickle of my four year old’s lashes as he gives me a butterfly kiss.
He giggles and pulls his head back. Then his face gets serious and in a wondering voice he says, “Mama how do you think ladybugs kiss?”
“Well, I don’t know…”
“Maybe they kiss the same as a butterfly.”
“Uh, yes maybe.”
And then (in words to do any homeschooling mama proud) he says, “Mama, we need to look it up!”
