Print Personalized Mazes!

by Alissa Marquess on June 3, 2011

In one of my fantasy lives I am a typographer. In this life, so far, I just get giddy over fonts, and here’s one that might make you giddy too.

Mazey is a font you can download for free from Fontstruct. You do have to create an account there, but that’s easy and then you have loads of creative fonts you can use.

This one is great because any combination of letters has a solution.

Possibilites:

  • Name Mazes
  • Print huge (900pt or more) for toy cars to drive through
  • Use as a pattern for creating a Lego maze
  • Make your own travel games
  • Engaging spelling word lists
  • Names on cards, gift bags or party favors
  • Use it as inspiration for one of your index cards for ICAD

Down load it and have an amazing weekend.  (OH! I tried to resist…)  Wherever your path may take you (can someone please stop me…) whatever twists and turns (eep) may you be amazed.  There I’m done. Finished.  Reached a dead  end….

Once you download it, then what? It doesn’t come up as something I can form words out of……

You are downloading a font file, you just need to install it and then you can use the font in Word. Just google and you’ll find out how, it’s easy.

How do you make such large fonts? I downloaded it and it works but I cant make larger than the normal 72 font size.

@sBASS- Instead of scrolling down the font size numbers, I just click my cursor into the numbers box and type 150 or 200 whatever huge size works. Thanks for visiting :)

Hello,

Thanks. I love it & it’s really amazing! :) I installed it, but only the first letter of the typed word is in maze!?? The rest is written into each other.. =}
Do you have a solution?
Thank you for sharing things at the internet.

Greetings, Raphael

I think perhaps the problem is that the font doesn’t work in both Capitals and lowercase.
