Printable Images of Fall Activities

by Alissa Marquess on October 6, 2011

I made this collage of nine images that can be used to illustrate many different Fall Activities for you.
You can download it, print it and cut it out however you like (trim the edges to make leaf shapes?) You could print it twice and make a Fall memory match game. Just click on the image to go to a page to download (right click and “save as”) or print.

Some ideas for Fall activities:

  • Harvest the garden
  • Plant bulbs
  • Pick pumpkins or apples
  • Play in leaves
  • Have a bon fire
  • Do a fall craft
  • Bake something
  • Make apple sauce
  • Have a picnic in the changing leaves.
  • Make Jack-O-Lanterns
  • Celebrate Thanksgiving

I made my kids a tree with leaves that each have an image of a Fall activity. (Yes, I drew my images, but I wanted to share the idea with you to use with the images above if you like…)

The leaves are stuck on with that blue-tac poster hanging putty. Each time we do something we take off a leaf and stick it under the tree. The images work well to get the kids excited and their excitement is contagious. So far we’ve harvested plants from out front and gone on and Autumn picnic, apple sauce is next!  Thank you to East Coast Mommy for the activity tree idea (check out her post here for a way to get your kids involved in the activity leaf making.)
