Recycled Shirts into Purses

by Alissa Marquess on December 2, 2010

I was running on very little sleep today and yet somehow managed to finish up this purse I started sewing this week. (Love that when you think it’ll be a day where NOTHING gets done, but something dose get done in the end.)

It was fun, but if I try one again I’ll certainly tweak it a bit- the lining is sort of a mess and I shouldn’t have put that one womens collar in with the mens (closes on the opposite side causing some wonky-ness.)

I lined it with a shirt front so it has a little pocket for a phone or keys.

I also made the perfect coin purse for a bag made out of shirt collars; a shirt cuff coin purse!
