As we look ahead at the new year, we might see a mountain of Things We Ought To Improve about ourselves. We might be tempted to look back at our mistakes and feel lousy.
Instead, lets look back and simply say “thank you.” Thank you to that amazing person who has been through so much, learned SO much and has made it this far.
In part of an effort to really be present with my kids, I am making Thursdays a low media day in my household.
A quick bite of inspiration and off we go. Get off the computer and create the life you want to be living. One little bit at a time. Tiny acts of courage- this is how we Make Things Happen.

Very inspirational, Alissa- I felt this way yesterday as my kids played outside and wandered from activity to activity based on their own curiosity- It was so peaceful and nice to just watch them explore in our backyard. And, I thought- I want more of this. Then, I realized, I could have it if I just let it happen. Thanks for the great posts!
I love that thought Tricia.
